Projects

KIDS4KENYA funds go directly to Kenya through grants made to African Promise, an independant UK registered charity started by 26-year-old Charles Coldman. Born and raised in England, Charles did his gap year in Kenya helping to build a school in a rural area. When he returned to England, he decided to forgo the "corporate world" (despite his University schooling) and to return to Africa and continue to help build more schools because he was so inspired about having a positive impact on those less fortunate.

He remains in Africa doing this, so that donated money goes directly into the schools, the teachers, library books and the facilities. Charles is passionate about wanting to continue to use his abilities and contacts to build more schools for African children and continue to help them move out of poverty. KIDS4KENYA was founded by Charles' uncle, who lives in Baltimore, MD, so that Children all over the US can have an opportunity to participate in this initiative and be involved at every level.
